Sap Materials Management Consultant

Masentó are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to join a team supporting Material Master governance in an S/4HANA environment.

This is a freelance position, an initial 3-month engagement with a hybrid working model (2 days in South Brussels, 1 day Antwerp and 2 days remote)

Core SAP MM Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Material Master (MM)
• Deep understanding of material types, views, field control, and cross-module dependencies
• End-to-end process knowledge of MM01 / MM02 / MM03
• Ability to perform system actions independently and accurately
• Strong documentation discipline (functional specs, data definitions, process flows)

Material Master Governance & MDG-M

• Experience with SAP MDG-M (Material Master Governance) is a strong plus
• Hands-on knowledge of MDG change requests, workflows, and approvals
• Familiarity with mass change frameworks in MDG
• Understanding of data quality rules, validations, and governance models
• Ability to manage and work through a backlog of master data–related tasks

Central Team & Key User Support

• Part of a central technical/functional expertise team
• Act as a subject-matter expert to:
• Guide and support key users
• Provide functional escalation and best-practice guidance
• Execute complex or sensitive master data changes
• Strong collaboration with business, IT, and governance teams
