Long-term internship in General Management

Created in 2020 at the initiative of Fintech Hubs and Federations, EDFA brings together national or sectoral associations active in Digital Finance.

The association's mission is to promote excellence in the sector in Europe and to represent European fintech to public authorities, regulators and the ecosystem.

EDFA is the most representative association of Digital Finance in Europe representing thousands of companies.

Directly attached to the Secretaries General, you will be required to address all aspects of the General Management profession at a high level:

• You will interact with members who want to form a working group or a think tank.
• You will select and share all news related to our association on social media and our website.
• You will prepare for and participate in Board of Directors meetings, contribute to writing the minutes, and follow up on the compliance of these meetings.
• You will prepare for and participate in certain meetings with European and/or national policymakers and regulators.
• You will present the association to potential new members and assist with their onboarding.
• You will assist the administrative manager in updating our members' information.
• You will participate in Executive Committee meetings and be a source of new ideas.

• You will be in contact with many audiences: founders and CEOs of fintech, correspondents with regulators, institutional and corporate partners.
• You will evolve in a booming ecosystem and strengthen your overall knowledge of one of the most dynamic sectors of activity in Europe.
• You work within the most representative digital finance association
• You will travel in Europe to interact with local Digital Finance associations.

• Student on gap year (Master 1) or end of study (Bac+5 / Master 2), with a predominantly \"Public Affairs\" \"or \"Management/Business\" course.
• You have a strong appetite for technological and financial themes.
• You have excellent writing, synthesis and analysis skills, adaptability and great responsiveness on various subjects, your level of English is fluent (mandatory).
• You are recognized for your autonomy in handling files, spirit of initiative, organization and strength of proposal.
• You master the notions of confidentiality, demonstrate discretion and rigor.
• You are passionate about the world of start-ups and innovation.

• Type: Long-term internship or work-study program
• Duration: 6 to 12 months, with the possibility of employment at the end of the internship
• Start: From August or September 2024
• Remuneration: from €1200 to €1400/month + transport assistance.
• Location: Brussels Downtown or Paris Center
