Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Portfolio & Demand Manager to lead the strategic planning, prioritization, and delivery of organizational initiatives while driving process optimization and standardization across business units. The ideal candidate brings strong portfolio governance expertise, operational insight, and executive influence to ensure initiatives are prioritized, standardized, and executed effectively. This role combines hands-on project delivery experience with the ability to analyze existing processes, document improvements, and implement target process across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Demand Leadership
Own and manage the organization's portfolio and demand intake process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, ongoing or planned strategic investments and resource capacity and planning
Facilitate/Steer prioritization and investment decisions with senior stakeholders in a multi-year roadmap, balancing business value, risk, and organizational impact
Experienced in preparing and facilitating annual business review, quarterly business review including COO's from different BUs.
Provide executive-level insights on portfolio composition, dependencies, and trade-offs
Establish and maintain portfolio governance frameworks, standards, and reporting
Leverage metrics and insights to drive better investment and delivery decisions
Act as a trusted partner to business leaders, technology teams, and PMO functions
Communicate portfolio status, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to executive audiences
Project methodology governance, adoption, control and reporting.
Continuously improve demand management, portfolio planning, and delivery processes
Project Delivery Oversight
Ensure high-impact initiatives are setup for success to deliver on time, within scope, and on budget
Oversee cross-project dependencies, risks, and resources to maximize efficiency
Partner with project delivery leads and delivery teams to apply process improvements in real-world delivery scenarios
Translate delivery insights into portfolio-level decisions and continuous improvement
Stakeholder & Change Management
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and business units, communicating portfolio status, trade-offs, and benefits clearly
Influence stakeholders across functions to align on standardized processes and strategic initiatives
Lead workshops and forums to ensure engagement, adoption, and accountability for process improvements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience
Extensive experience in portfolio management, demand management, and project delivery
Proven ability to analyze, standardize, and improve processes across multiple business units
Strong understanding of project and portfolio management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
Demonstrated experience influencing senior leadership and securing buy-in for process improvements
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced certifications (PgMP, PMP, SAFe, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent)
Experience leading enterprise transformation or cross-functional initiative
Strong financial acumen, benefits realization, and resource planning experience

The Portfolio and Demand manager will work closely with the IT leadership team and report to the Head of IT.
