For one of our industrial partners in the Antwerp region, we are looking for a Senior CFD Simulation Consultant who can independently strengthen the CAE team and deliver simulation results that matter on the factory floor—not just on screen.

Your challenge

As a Senior CFD Simulation Expert, you apply fluid dynamics and thermal simulations in a fast-paced industrial environment. You quickly understand the product, the constraints, and the development roadmap—and translate simulation results into clear design decisions.

You operate as a trusted technical partner, balancing accuracy with feasibility, and contributing immediately to ongoing product development activities.

Your responsibilities

• Perform CFD and thermal simulations for industrial components and systems, supported by analytical calculations where relevant.
  
• Define efficient and reliable simulation strategies aligned with product development timelines.
  
• Translate simulation outcomes into concrete, actionable design recommendations.
  
• Collaborate closely with product development engineers to support design optimization and technical decision-making.
  
• Improve simulation models, workflows, and best practices from an industrial point of view.
  
• Clearly communicate assumptions, limitations, and risks of simulations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  

Your profile

• Strong, hands-on experience with industrial CFD simulations.
  
• Able to work autonomously and integrate quickly within an existing engineering team.
  
• Solid understanding of industrial trade-offs: performance, cost, robustness, manufacturability.
  
• Affinity with scripting or programming to automate or streamline simulation workflows.
  
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with attention to engineering detail.
  
• Experience with testing, measurements, or validation is a strong plus.
  
• Master's degree in Engineering or Science; extensive industrial experience may compensate.
