Social Media Manager (Founder + B2B Brand)

Rate: $100USD a week for 5 hours

About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, highly organised Social Media Manager to own and execute the day-to-day social presence of our B2B, including the public voice of our founder.

This role sits at the intersection of founder-led thought leadership and B2B positioning. You'll turn ideas, research, conversations, and real-world experience into high-quality social content that builds credibility, reach, and long-term brand value with a professional, decision-maker audience.

You'll work closely with the founder and internal team to translate opinions, conference talks, research, and product insight into clear, compelling social content — while ensuring the founder's voice and the company's B2B positioning stay aligned and mutually reinforcing.

This is an execution-heavy role for someone who understands how B2B brands grow through trust, authority, and consistency, not hype — and how founder brands amplify that when done well.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Founder & B2B Social Media Management

  • Own the day-to-day management of social media across:
  • Founder personal brand (primarily LinkedIn and Instagram)
  • Company B2B social presence (primarily LinkedIn and YouTube)
  • Translate voice notes, Looms, calls, research, and rough ideas into polished posts
  • Maintain a consistent posting cadence and shared content calendar
  • Ensure tone, positioning, and messaging stay aligned across founder and business channels
  • Keep content grounded in B2B relevance, credibility, and insight

2. Content Creation & Publishing

  • Write clear, engaging posts that reflect authority, insight, and experience in a B2B context
  • Repurpose long-form content (talks, blogs, interviews, research, product insights) into short-form social content
  • Shape content differently depending on channel:
  • Founder posts → opinion, leadership perspective, industry insight
  • Business posts → clarity, credibility, positioning, proof
  • Coordinate visuals (simple carousels, graphics, thumbnails) with designers when needed
  • Schedule and publish content accurately and on time

3. Engagement & Presence

  • Monitor comments and surface high-value conversations or responses
  • Flag opportunities for:
  • Thought-leadership follow-ups
  • Podcast, panel, or speaking invites
  • B2B partnerships, sales, or collaboration opportunities
  • Keep the founder informed of what's resonating with a B2B audience and where to double down

4. Performance & Iteration

  • Track core performance metrics (reach, engagement, saves, profile growth)
  • Identify patterns in high-performing content across founder vs. business posts
  • Continuously refine formats, hooks, and angles based on what works

Who You Are

  • Proven experience managing founder-led or personal brands, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Strong social copywriting skills — concise, clear, and credibility-driven
  • Highly organised and reliable; you execute without being chased
  • Comfortable working directly with a founder/CEO and handling nuanced or sensitive ideas
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn as a B2B platform
  • Able to turn rough input into clean output quickly

Bonus (Not Required)

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, SEO, digital marketing, or tech-driven industries
  • Familiarity with content repurposing workflows
  • Light design sense — knowing what will and won't work visually
