The Aircraft Maintenance Program and Reliability Engineer is responsible for the maintenance programs and for reliability analysis of systems, powerplant, and components for all aircraft in the Group’s fleet. The Aircraft Maintenance Program and Reliability Engineer acts as an interface between internal departments and external providers. The Aircraft Maintenance Program and Reliability Engineer develops short and long-term enhancement plans to improve the effectiveness of the maintenance program, increase aircraft availability and reduce delays.
Develop, revise and administer the aircraft maintenance programs (AMP);
Manage and monitor AMP content in the maintenance software (AMOS);
Initiate regular maintenance program reviews for effectiveness;
Analyze airframe maintenance data, shop visit reports, industry trends, OEM advice and other relevant information to provide recommendations for AMP improvements;
Assist with implementing maintenance program escalations;
Collect data from maintenance software and perform statistical analysis to monitor, evaluate and suggest improvements to the aircraft operational and technical performance;
Interact with OEMs, vendors, local authorities, and design or maintenance organizations on industry issues and trends;
Support ad-hoc projects (e.g. aircraft phase-in and phase-out).
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering
~3-5 years in a similar engineering position, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in aviation
~ Solid knowledge of EASA & FAA regulations, in particular regulations relating to Part-CAMO, Part-21 and Part-145
~ Good team player, flexible, autonomous, and proactive
~ Experience with aviation maintenance software, Swiss-AS AMOS is an advantage
~ Fluent English required
