afarax is looking for a freelance Finance Project Consultant. We need you!

The project:

Our client in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced Finance Project Consultant to strengthen their team.

The tasks will consist of:

Projects

• Group project on automation of the consolidation towards the Group
• Support in the implementation of new Partners & processes
• Improve the framework on the evolution of manual entries (reduction & action plan)
• Participation and support in case of need relating to the finance squad

Reconciliation exercises

• Reconciliation of wholesales system (ISF) with accounting system : identification of differences
• Improve the process and review way of working
• Improve parametrization of accounting flows (data flows)

VAT: Support in the calculation and automation of the pro-rata calculations

• Review and improve the process

BI automation

• Support in the implementation of automatic reporting via f.e. Cognos (BI TOOL)

Support in the monthly closing / consolidation

• Performing & documenting the task
• Spot improvement points and implementations to speed up the closing process.
• Enforce the control framework

Is this you?

• Fluent in French and English
• Good in Dutch
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in economics or accounting or similar qualification
• +4 years of relevant experience
• Good Accounting knowledge
• Strong MS Office (Excel) skills
• BI Tools: f.e. Cognos
• Knowledge of banking environment
• Knowledge about leasing, wholesale & consumer loans products
