Senior .NET Developer - Trading Applications

Context

We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join one of our clients in the energy sector, strengthening a team dedicated to trading tools.

The mission will take place within the IS Trading and Sales Tools team, responsible for trading platform applications related to pre-trade activities.

You will be joining the CurveBuilding team in particular, which is in charge of developing and maintaining a strategic software component: transforming market order books into model parameters (curves) that can be used in real time by pricers. These curves are then distributed and stored to be leveraged by many other applications within the scope, as well as by custom tools developed directly on trading desks.

Mainly based in Paris, the team is looking to strengthen its presence in Brussels (currently 2 people).

You will act as the local anchor point and work closely with end users (Front Office), while collaborating extensively with the Paris teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of application components (.NET, real-time, multi-threading).
• Drafting technical specifications and participating in deployments.
• Production monitoring and local user support.
• Participation in Agile team rituals.
• Contribution to the team’s rotating support role.

Occasional travel to Paris will be required for training, coordination with development partners, and meetings with end users.

Profile

• Confirmed experience in .NET development (7–10 years).
• Expertise in real-time environments and multi-threading challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with trading teams (FO).
• English required, French desirable.

Mission Details

• Location: Brussels
• Hybrid work: 2–3 days remote per week
