🧭 YOUR ROLE

As an Indirect Buyer, you will play a key role in transforming procurement into a strategic value driver. Acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, you will help drive cost-efficiency, innovation, and compliance across the supplier landscape.

You will lead and coordinate procurement projects across categories, working closely with internal stakeholders to:

• Optimize the supplier portfolio
• Reduce total cost of ownership (TCO)
• Drive supplier performance to industry-leading standards

Your work will have a direct and measurable impact, contributing to organizational efficiency and long-term strategic objectives.

🔍 WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Define and execute category strategies that align with business needs and sustainability goals.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes (RFx) from market analysis to contract award, ensuring value creation and TCO optimization.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal clients: understand their needs, challenge assumptions, and translate requirements into clear specifications.
• Negotiate and manage contracts in line with internal policies and category strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
• Track market trends and supplier innovations to ensure best-in-class procurement practices.
• Contribute to procurement excellence by improving tools, processes, and ways of working.

🎓 KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in procurement, ideally within indirect spend (e.g., services, facilities, IT, office supplies).
• Solid knowledge of sourcing methodology and project management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead RFx processes independently.
• Strong stakeholder management and partnership-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with expertise in cost analysis and supplier evaluation.
• Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French.
