About the Role

Join GS1 Healthcare team for a 6-month internship beginning in March 2026 and contribute to shaping global standards in healthcare. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to support strategic activities ranging from research and planning to event coordination and marketing.

What You’ll Work On

Meeting support

  • Taking clear and accurate minutes during internal and external meetings
  • Organising meeting notes, action points, and follow-up items

Research & monitoring

  • Supporting desk research on healthcare policy, regulatory developments, and digital health initiatives
  • Assisting with the collection and organisation of information related to traceability, identification, and digital health topics

Database & information management

  • Entering, updating, and maintaining structured information in internal databases and tracking tools
  • Supporting the organisation of policy initiatives, pilot projects, and regulatory references

General team support

  • Assisting with document preparation, presentations, and reporting
  • Providing administrative support for projects related to healthcare regulation, electronic Product Leaflets (ePLs), and digital health

Who You Are Academically

  • A university student studying Business, Management, Public Administration, Law, Healthcare Policy, or another related discipline currently enrolled in a course that requires an internship to be completed.
  • Mandatory fluency in spoken and written English (C2 level).
  • Mandatory strong computer literacy: MS Office, especially SharePoint skills are required.

  • Pro-active self-starter with a willingness to use their own initiative.
  • Someone who enjoys working in an international environment and who takes ownership of tasks.
  • Detail-oriented and organised.
  • A team player with a positive mindset, open to helping wherever needed.

Indemnity and conditions

This unpaid internship should be executed at the Brussels office (hybrid, 2 days in-office per week); applicants must, however, be legally entitled to work in Belgium (and show proof, if required) if they execute the internship from the office in Brussels.
