About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Biostatistician Biomarker Scientist to join a cutting-edge immunology-focused biotech team. In this role, you will lead advanced statistical and computational analyses of biomarker and multi-omics data to support clinical development programs. You’ll translate complex research questions into actionable quantitative strategies, develop reproducible analysis workflows, and provide key insights to cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Own end-to-end biomarker statistics for clinical trials in immunology.
- Design and execute robust analyses: longitudinal modeling, survival analysis, multiplicity control, and high-dimensional inference.
- Analyze and integrate multi-omics data (transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics).
- Develop reproducible workflows in R/Bioconductor, Python, and collaborate on cloud-based analytics (Databricks, Snowflake).
- Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings effectively (R/Shiny, Spotfire, or similar).
- Mentor team members and contribute to data science best practices .
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Clinical, Translational, and Preclinical teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- Advanced degree in Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Science, or related quantitative field .
- 8+ years’ experience in pharma/biotech , with clinical development exposure.
- Strong programming skills: R/Bioconductor (expert) , Python for scientific computing/ML; SAS is a plus.
- Deep experience in biomarker methods (diagnostic, prognostic, pharmacodynamic, response predictive).
- Experience with multi-omics datasets, feature engineering, dimensionality reduction, ML workflows .
- Familiarity with CDISC standards, data visualization, and cloud analytics platforms .
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses for diverse audiences.
