Today Pyou Global presents you with a new vacancy: for the Belgian branch of a prestigious Italian company which manufactures and sells manufactures CNC machines for precision mechanical machining, we are looking for a:

ELECTROMECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN with willingness to TRAVEL

The position will be involved in ordinary, preventive, and extraordinary maintenance activities, as well as in providing technical support to international clients – mainly in Belgium and, over time, in other Northern European countries. This role will play a key part in ensuring the correct functioning and performance of the company’s machinery at customer sites.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform ordinary and extraordinary maintenance on machine tools and automated systems at customer facilities;

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and/or electrical components;

• Provide post-sales technical support and operational training to customer personnel;

• Manage and maintain professional relationships with clients, ensuring high service standards.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or professional qualification in mechatronics, electromechanics, or a related field;

• At least 3–5 years of experience as a field service technician or maintenance specialist on industrial equipment or machine tools;

• Willingness to travel extensively ( approximately 90% of the time ) across Belgium and Northern Europe, with the remaining work performed remotely (home office);

• Occasional availability for weekend travel (rare, but required when necessary);

• Good command of English; knowledge of French or Dutch is considered a plus;

• Strong customer orientation, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently;

• Willingness to attend initial technical training at the company’s headquarters in Piacenza, Emilia-Romagna (Italy).
