Mission

Analyzing and defining the needs of internal and external clients, translating them into precise, structured, and actionable functional and technical specifications for developers.

Your objective:

  • Ensure the quality, clarity, and added value of Portima Connect solutions
  • Always staying ahead of industry standards (digitalization, connectivity, security).
  • Actively monitor industry standards and norms (e.g., Telebib2, API standards, security, compliance) and support their integration into Portima Connect solutions.
  • Act as reference point for understanding, applying, and tracking sector normalization.

In practice:

  1. Gather, analyze, and formalize business needs in collaboration with the Product Owner and stakeholders.
  2. Translate these needs into detailed functional and technical specifications, in English, for developers.
  3. Write the technical documentation for the clients (development teams of insurance compagnies).
  4. Produce model processes and data flows: UML diagrams (use case, sequence, class diagrams).
  5. Clearly describe expectations for developers
  6. Verify with the technical architect the consistency and the respect for budget and existing architecture.
  7. Validate developed solutions: write acceptance criteria, validate the test scenarios write by the test team, and follow up on issues.
  8. Participate in the design and evolution of Portima APIs (REST, etc.) in collaboration with architects and developers.
  9. Ensure monitoring, understanding, and follow-up of sector normalization (standards, compliance, security) and support their implementation in Portima Connect projects.
  10. Act as the point of contact to clarify needs, challenge proposed solutions, and guarantee the quality of deliverables.
  11. Contribute to the continuous improvement of analysis methods and tools within the Portima Connect team.

Qualifications

  • University degree (bachelor/master) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in functional/technical analysis, ideally in a connectivity/integration context (API, middleware).
  • Mastery of one national language (FR or NL) and good understanding of the other.
  • Fluent English: able to write all documentation and user stories in English.
  • Excellent modeling skills: UML (use case, sequence, class diagrams, etc.).
  • Good understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP, data exchanges).
  • Proficiency with collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence or equivalent).
  • Experience in functional validation and structured documentation writing.
  • Knowledge of security standards (IAM, GDPR) is a plus.
  • Sensitivity to regulatory monitoring and sector normalization.
