Your mission

Are you a senior commercial professional who grows strategic accounts while actively hunting for new business in Life Sciences & Pharma ?

At Akkodis, you will build and expand relationships with international clients across Belgium, accelerate revenue and margin growth, and develop partnerships that create tangible impact.

As Senior Key Account Manager , you are the commercial face of Akkodis within Life Sciences. You combine a hunter mindset (creating new opportunities) with strong farmer skills (expanding strategic customers). You manage performance, profitability and growth, and position Akkodis with international decision makers.

What you will do (Sales & Growth Focus)

  • New business & growth: identify and create opportunities (projects, staffing, services/solutions) and convert them into signed deals.
  • Strategic account management: build long-term C-level relationships and act as a trusted advisor for your customers.
  • Commercial ownership: manage P&L, pipeline, forecasting and KPIs; steer proactively and think two steps ahead.
  • Deal-making & negotiations: lead negotiations for complex contracts and framework agreements, with a strong focus on value and margin.
  • Internal orchestration: collaborate closely with recruitment, delivery, sales and international Akkodis teams to win proposals and ensure successful delivery.
  • Stakeholder management: remain calm and sharp in sensitive situations, keeping both relationships and results on track.

Who we are looking for (Seniority is key)

  • 5–15 years of experience in (Key) Account Management, Strategic Sales, Business Development or similar—preferably within B2B services/consultancy (project- or service-driven models).
  • Fluent in French, Dutch and English (professional level).
  • Strong influencer and storyteller: you sell value , not just profiles or hours.
  • Highly results-driven, analytical and financially savvy ( P&L / margin / forecasting ).
  • Mandatory: proven experience in Life Sciences / Pharma / Biotech / Healthcare .
