Construction Manager (Mechanical & Electrical)

SilverBack is looking for an experienced Construction Manager (Mechanical or Electrical) to lead large-scale, technically complex construction projects for a major international client for a Data Centre Project based in Mons, Belgium.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall management of site safety, QA, programme, and daily operations
• Control and reporting of project costs (labour, materials, plant & equipment)
• Lead subcontractor performance, progress tracking, and coordination meetings
• Drive safety, quality, and engineering standards across the project
• Manage snagging, reporting, documentation, and project close-out activities
• Liaise closely with the project team, client, and stakeholders
• Ensure all safety, QA, and subcontractor documentation is maintained and compliant

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years as Senior Construction Manager or 10+ years as Construction Manager
• Data Centre experience
• 10–15 years’ experience on large-scale technical or industrial projects
• Strong background in design & build environments
• In-depth knowledge of Health, Safety, and Quality compliance
• Solid understanding of Civil, Structural, Architectural, M&E systems
• Proven ability to lead large teams and deliver projects to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Highly proficient in English
• EU passport or Belgium Residency Permit
