💼 The Role
As Key Account Manager , you will own and grow a portfolio of strategic customers, driving revenue through account expansion, long-term partnerships, and new opportunity identification. You will be fully accountable for sales performance within your territory and key accounts.
This is a hands-on commercial role with high visibility and impact.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Own, manage, and grow key strategic accounts across the Benelux region
- Deliver against clear revenue, growth, and margin targets
- Develop and execute robust account plans to maximize long-term value
- Identify upselling, cross-selling, and new business opportunities
- Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers
- Lead complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to close
- Collaborate closely with internal commercial, marketing, and technical teams
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer dynamics
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences
🧠 Your Profile (Read Carefully)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a sales or key account management role within the life sciences industry – THIS IS A MUST
- Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
- Strong understanding of the Benelux life sciences landscape
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Strategic, structured, and opportunity-focused mindset
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a strong advantage
- Willing and able to travel regularly within the Benelux region
