Overview
The Senior Accountant plays a key role within the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while contributing to the improvement and automation of financial processes. The role combines strong accounting expertise with a proactive, business-oriented mindset and close collaboration with finance and other business teams. Responsibilities include end-to-end accounting, period closings, management reporting, audit preparation, and acting as a reference point for accounting and tax-related matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Taxation, or Business Economics
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Belgian accounting standards and IFRS
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Exact Online, or equivalent)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment

Languages

• Dutch or French: professional proficiency
• English: good working knowledge
