For an innovative and fast-growing biotech company, we are looking for a
freelance Quality Consultant
who can strengthen and structure the quality framework within an R&D-driven environment. You will join a research-focused setting where quality, data integrity and robust processes are essential.

Your future role

As a Quality Consultant, you will take the lead in assessing, improving and implementing the quality management system (QMS). You work closely with R&D and leadership teams to ensure that processes and documentation align with the needs of a dynamic biotech scale-up. You advise stakeholders, drive improvements and help build a solid quality foundation that supports future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive gap analysis of existing quality documentation
• Identify missing elements in Policies, SOPs and Work Instructions
• Write, harmonize and optimize quality documents and document flows
• Advise on document management structures, version control and review processes

Your professional selfie

• Minimum 5 years of QA experience in biotech, pharma or research-driven environments
• Strong knowledge of quality requirements for R&D settings, including GLP elements and data integrity
• Proven experience in building and maintaining a QMS
• Skilled in internal audits, SOP writing, gap analyses and compliance reviews
• Analytical, structured and hands-on approach
• Excellent communication skills and ability to guide stakeholders
• Consultancy mindset: critical, pragmatic and solution oriented
• Nice to have: experience with microbiome research, ISO 9001 or ISO 17025
