Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryThis position will assist the study PIs and coordinators with numerous components of ongoing research studies in the SQUID (Sensory Questions in Development) Lab. Main responsibilities for the SQUID Lab include administering fMRIs and behavioral assessments with participants, assisting with screening, scheduling, and organizational tasks, and assisting with neuroimaging data processing and analysis. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain research experience for those interested in research or medical careers.Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, screens and schedules subjects for study per protocol, and assists with organizational tasks.
  • Administers fMRIs and behavioral assessments with participants ages birth to 14 years.
  • Assists with neuroimaging data processing and analysis.
  • Maintains proper documentation and record keeping.
  • Monitors and orders supplies necessary for study.
  • Prepares information packets for patients enrolled in study.
  • May receive training from Professional Rater II, Professional Rater III or others based on organizational structure.
  • Prior experience and familiarity with fMRI is preferred but not required.
