Overview

The assignment focuses on providing operational and functional support for a SAP BI platform. The consultant will work in close collaboration with a technical lead responsible for alerting, technical monitoring, security management, and platform components, as well as with internal teams and product or application service management responsible for demand prioritization and workload validation.

The reporting environments primarily support public-sector operational applications related to urban planning, asset management, and citizen services.

Key objectives include ensuring platform stability, supporting reporting evolution, maintaining data models, and guaranteeing service quality through structured incident, request, and change management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a BI Analyst
• Proven experience in public sector environments
• Strong experience with SAP BI platforms
• Daily management of incidents, service requests, and change requests, including:
• Data refresh and data quality incidents
• Creation and modification of BI reports
• Changes to data flows, data models, and semantic layers (Univers)
• Experience validating data and test results prior to production releases
• Ability to support adaptations caused by changes in source systems
• Functional maintenance of the conceptual data warehouse model
• Experience maintaining technical and functional documentation
• Ability to define and report service KPIs (ticket volumes, resolution times, SLA compliance, workload per ticket)

Technical skills:

• ETL processes and data integration
• Expert-level experience with Data Services Designer (minimum 3 years)
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL (Oracle-based data warehouses)
• Experience with PostgreSQL (source databases)
• Business Objects:
• Information Design Tool (expert level, minimum 3 years)
• Univers and reporting
• Data warehouse modeling and design
• Strong functional analysis skills for conceptual data model design
• SAP certification is a strong plus

Languages

• French: active knowledge
• Dutch: active knowledge
