In Brussels, we have our Structural and Mechatronics Engineering offices, where all our new programs begin and our workshops are equipped with modern

machines that produce complex metallic assemblies for aircraft and space launchers as well as advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers.

Mission :

Inside a development team, interacting with Production Department, to provide support to our manufacturing/customers in case of non-conformity.

Responsibilities :

• Treatment of the non-conformity appearing during the manufacturing of these products

• Root causes analysis

• Identification of the corrective actions

• Conception of integrated space or aeronautical structural assemblies

• Structural validation of the parts

• A varied work, combining the aspects of the Development Department (conception & industrialization) and Production (machining, assembly, inspection)

• A function with responsibilities, requesting for certain autonomy - a vital and indispensable link into the proper functioning of the serial-production

• Elaborate technical specifications (component, test, etc. as appropriate)

• Ensuring compliance with EN9100 quality standards and the ISO 14001 environmental standard

• Transferring your knowledge and expertise to new team members to foster a continuous learning and supportive environment. 

Profile :

Education - diploma - experience

• Master's degree of industrial engineering in a mechanic/electro-mechanic engineering domain

• 0-3 years of relevant experience in your area of responsibilities.

Competencies :

Technical skills

• Experience with a CAD soft (CATIA V5, ...)

• Knowledge of Strength of Materials, analysis and calculations of structures

• Knowledge of production and manufacturing methods

• Basic knowledge of composite.

Soft skills

• Have a good sense of physics, being « production » oriented

• Having a team-spirit and an easy contact with the shop floor

• Sense for organization and a personal investment into the work

• Spirit of initiative and sense of responsibilities

• Strong communication and team-working skills

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Quality and result oriented with pro-active attitude

• You are willing to make short travels within Europe

• Fluent English. French and/or Dutch useful.

IT : MS office, CATIA, FEM software
