Field Support Engineer

Fujitsu is looking for a
Field Support Engineer
to support a
major EU Institution
, ensuring the smooth operation and high availability of its
videoconferencing platform (Pexip)
.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

• Operate, monitor, and support the videoconferencing platform (Pexip), including network and system configurations
• Master and control technical parameters of the videoconferencing environment
• Interact at a technical level with server, network, and application teams
• Provide hands-on technical operation and real-time support for videoconferences in direct contact with end users
• Produce reports on conference quality and operational performance
• Deliver consolidated reports on service quality and videoconferencing service centre operations

Documentation & Technical Reporting

• Maintain and update documentation related to procedures, platform parameters, and operational changes
• Produce technical reports including service metrics such as:
• Number of conferences supported
• Incidents and issues
• Improvement recommendations

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide technical support outside normal working hours or days when required

Required Skills & Experience

• Certified knowledge of videoconferencing technologies (Pexip certification or equivalent highly appreciated)
• Strong understanding of industry norms, standards, and best practices
• Proven experience with:
• Architecture and technology selection
• Installation, configuration, testing, and operations
• Ability to communicate effectively with end users in
  French and English
• Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, responsible, and reliable working attitude
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to workload fluctuations
• Strong team player
