Service Coordinator Engines – Marine Services We ARE Renewables is recruiting a Service Coordinator Engines for one of our clients, to strengthen their Marine Service operations in Antwerp. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing complex engine service projects, acting as the operational backbone between clients, service engineers, and internal stakeholders. You ensure projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high levels of customer and employee satisfaction. Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage complex marine engine service assignments involving multiple internal and external stakeholders;
Act as the central operational point of contact, maintaining full project overview and progress tracking;
Align internal teams with client agreements and operational requirements;
Clearly separate operational responsibilities from commercial account management (handled by the Key Account Manager);
Lead day-to-day project management activities from planning to execution and completion;
Monitor costs, timelines, and resource utilization to ensure efficient delivery;
Plan and schedule workforce activities for a team of 15+ service engineers;
Ensure optimal allocation of skills, availability, and workload;
Communicate clearly with clients regarding planning, execution, and organizational matters;
Identify bottlenecks and proactively resolve operational challenges.
Profile / Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or operational discipline;
Proven experience in service coordination, project coordination, or a similar operational role;
Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail;
Customer-focused mindset combined with strong execution and ownership;
Able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, complex environment;
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
Fluent in Dutch and English;
Experience in marine, engine, or technical service environments is a strong advantage.
