We are now looking for Process Managers  to our coating and finishing lines in our factory in Houthalen-Helchteren, Belgium.

What you will do

In this role, you will lead efficient, high-quality, and safe production operations across the facility. Reporting to the General Manager and as part of the Factory Management Team, you will be responsible for meeting production targets on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will guide and inspire your team to continuously improve processes, solve operational challenges, and foster collaboration across departments. By identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency, you play a key role in ensuring the factory not only meets its goals but also continuously enhances its performance and competitiveness. In addition, you will:

  • Oversee safety, production, maintenance, and personnel relations
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Promote a safety-conscious work environment and maintain documentation of safe practices
  • Develop strategies to achieve production goals in quality and quantity
  • Coordinate daily operations: planning, personnel, quality improvement, and waste reduction
  • Manage machinery and building maintenance, including preventive and corrective action plans
  • Control operating budget, maintain strong communication, and drive continuous improvement

Who You Are

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline, plus two years in operative leadership position
  • Background in engineering is an advantage
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with initiative and creativity
  • You have proven leadership and people management experience; able to drive positive change
  • You communicate well in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • You have technical expertise in maintenance, engineering, safety, and process management. Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus
