Business Analyst – English and/or French/Dutch – ALTEN Belgium

The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a
Business Analyst
to join our teams and work on client projects located in
Belgium
.

As a
Business Analyst
, your main responsibilities will include:

• Identifying, defining, and documenting software requirements and business processes
• Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
• Gathering and analyzing the needs of various stakeholders, both stated and implied
• Creating business documentation such as business cases, requirement summaries, and process diagrams
• Collaborating with development teams and product owners in Agile environments (Jira, Scrum)
• Supporting the definition and implementation of process improvements and system enhancements
• Facilitating communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment with goals
• Ensuring solutions are delivered in line with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards

Your Profile

• University degree in Business or equivalent
• 3+ years
  of experience in business analysis or requirements engineering, ideally in the financial services sector (banking, insurance, investment)
• Proficiency in tools and methodologies such as
  Jira
  ,
  Agile/Scrum
  , business process modeling, and documentation practices
• Languages:
  Fluent English (B2+ level)
  ; Dutch and/or French is a plus
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong adaptability and learning mindset
• Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g.
  CBAP
  ) and Agile methodologies are considered a strong asset
