Job Overview:
To strengthen our team at our HQ in Antwerp, we're hiring a 4/5 (or full-time) E-Bike Mechanic / E-Bike Specialist for a fixed period till December 2026 (afterwards a permanent work contract can be discussed).
You'll be responsible for Classified's bike shop and will work at the heart of our e-bike innovation. Your work will include wheel building, assembling complete e-bike systems, and maintaining our test bikes in close collaboration with marketing, sales, and R&D-teams.
Occasionally you will give technical training to bike mechanics, teaching them the ins and outs of our products. You will also occasionally support the sales and marketing teams during events and fairs.
Key Responsibilities:
• You have a strong knowledge of the most common e-bike motor brands.
• You bring solid hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing e-bikes.
• You have in-depth knowledge of internal geared hubs.
• You're comfortable working with belt drives, including calculating belt lines and troubleshooting belt tension issues.
• You're a proactive problem solver who can independently tackle complex technical challenges.
• You document your work accurately and can follow procedures with great attention to detail.
• You can manage bike parts inventory and place orders with major distributors.
• You can calculate spoke lengths and build wheels from scratch.
• You work in a structured, detail-oriented way and know how to keep a workshop clean and organized.
• You're comfortable speaking to groups and are willing to deliver technical training sessions for bike mechanics in both Dutch and English.
• You want to work a couple of weekends per year to support the sales and marketing team at events and fairs.
