What will you do?
- Ensure the accuracy and end-to-end compliance of Belgian payroll
- Oversee salary calculations, bonuses, holiday pay, exits, DMFA, Belcotax and tax obligations
- Analyze and resolve payroll anomalies and propose sustainable solutions
- Review, develop and implement innovative HR and payroll processes
- Drive and support continuous process improvement (Master Data – Time – Payroll)
- Implement quality controls, KPIs and action plans
- Act as an expert in all types of projects, including strategic HR projects (iHRM, CBAs, digital transformation)
- Advise management and work closely with Finance, Reward, Audit, ICT and external partners
- Contribute to the evolution of HR/payroll systems and participate in testing and deployment phases
- Functionally coordinate HR experts within the HR Shared Service Center (HRSSC)
Who are you?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll / hard HR within a complex environment
- Excellent command of Belgian social legislation and payroll processes
- Experience with a social secretariat: an asset
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Comfortable in a role combining operational and strategic responsibilities
- Very good command of Excel
- Good knowledge of HR ERP systems
- Team player, assertive, solution-oriented and focused on continuous improvement
- Excellent knowledge of French or Dutch, good understanding of the other language, and professional proficiency in English
