Job Posting Details
The appointee will provide all-round secretarial support to the Head of the Department, including managing the Head's schedule, handling written correspondences, travel arrangements and other documentations on behalf of the Head. The appointee will also provide secretarial and logistic support to departmental committees and meetings, including meeting scheduling, committee logistics and preparations, relevant correspondence, and other documentations that may include confidential and sensitive information.
In addition to providing secretarial support, the role is responsible for handling personnel-related matters of faculty, including assisting faculty recruitment process, supporting the logistics of recruitment-related functions, faculty reviews and maintaining faculty personnel records; providing logistical support for department events and guests; organizing workshops and activities; handling general departmental administrative duties and enquiries, as well as performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head and committee chairs.
Applicants should possess an associate degree or higher diploma, preferably a bachelor's degree, with at least 3 years of relevant secretarial / administrative experiences. Experience in the tertiary education sector is an advantage. The appointee should be highly proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese. They should be detail-oriented, self-motivated with excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and multi-tasking skills. They should be able to work independently and as a team, with high flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
