Purpose

For our Sensor & Measurement Technology team we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional that likes to work in multinational environment. We are developing cutting edge ultrasonic sensors and measurement methodologies for NDT Global's inline inspection services for pipelines.

Tasks / Responsibilities

  • Contribute to planning, design, preparation, execution and documentation of tests of sensors and inspection tools following test procedures.
  • Order materials for lab and test purposes.
  • Maintain lab equipment and facilities.
  • Assemble and prepare inspection tool for testing activities.
  • Support the analysis of test results.
  • Qualification and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in physics, acoustics or similar field.
  • Education with electronic / mechanical background, with a technical diploma / fagskolen certificate, is sufficient if relevant practical experience can be demonstrated.
  • Experience in a scientific environment.
  • Experience in acoustic testing is a plus.
  • Experienced in MS Office.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
  • Proficiency in spoken Norwegian is preferred
  • Skillset

  • Open-minded and interested in new methods and tools.
  • Excellent command of English; additional Norwegian proficiency is preferred.
  • High degree of attention to detail with a clear focus on quality and due care.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative team spirit
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
