Freelance Network Engineer

Freelance Network Engineer- Greenfield project- Hybrid- Long-term

We're recruiting for an experienced Network Engineer to join a greenfield infrastructure project within a hybrid environment. This role offers the opportunity to design and build a modern, secure network from the ground up, spanning on-premises and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement greenfield network infrastructure
• Build and configure routing, switching, firewalls, and connectivity solutions
• Support hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud integration)
• Ensure security, resilience, and high availability by design
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams
• Produce clear technical documentation and network diagrams

Experience:

• Strong background as a Network Engineer in project-based environments
• Proven experience delivering greenfield builds
• Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN, routing & switching, firewalls, VPNs
• Experience with hybrid networking (Azure / AWS connectivity is a plus)
• Familiarity with enterprise vendors (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba)
