BESTMIX is a proud market leader in the world of strategic software tools for the food industry. The financial and logistics process in a food company is very specific. That is why BESTMIX developed the BESTMIX ERP package, based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and with very specific functionalities for food producers. Specifically, you will research the new features of Microsoft's new price management functionality and how they can fit into our software.

Your internship location will be at our headquarters in Maldegem, Belgium.

Account Reconciliation Agent in D365FO. Because this is the first standard AI Agent for finance introduced in D365FO. The purpose is continuous automated monitoring the link between sub ledgers and the general ledger. If you want to understand why this is important, you need to understand first the circle between general ledger and sub ledger.

This process of reconciling general ledger and sub ledgers is part of the financial period closing tasks before reporting and analysing the financials and cash flow:

The intended outcome should be that no differences will be found between general ledger and sub ledger and the best is to make a D365FO setup related to this purpose.

But in case of for example allowing manual entries on sub ledger accounts, make changes to posting profiles, not having all sub ledger postings already transferred to the general ledger or logic failing it is good to find mismatches as fast as possible. And this is what the agents monitors.

Besides this monitoring the related Account reconciliation workspace gives possibility to intervene when needed where the Account Reconciliation Agent proposes actions to mitigate differences.

• First, you will learn how the modern ERP system works and analyze some of the basic functions by your own in our office.
• Once you know the basic system functionalities, learn how our current financial flow works.
• Next step is analyzing new functionality of the Account Reconciliation Agent. You will do it by studying documentation provided by Microsoft and own analysis and testing.
• you will describe the possibilities and requirements of the Account Reconciliation Agent functionality.
• You will investigate how this functionality can be useful for our customers in a B2B and B2C context. Your analysis will be based on real cases/financial flows. For a particular customer we are using a self created tool for reconciliations. Can the Account Reconciliation Agent replace that tool?
• You will investigate if there are any bottlenecks or issues we must take in account.
• You will do a basic setup of the new functionality and give a demo based on realistic examples.
• You will present your findings to grow our knowledge internally.

• You are following a bachelor or graduate degree, preferably in IT, computer science, Business Administration or similar.
• You are analytical, eager to learn and willing to discover new technologies.
• You are structured, reliable and have an eye for quality and cooperation.
• You communicate fluently and are not afraid to ask for help or give feedback.
• You are fluent in Dutch; knowledge of English is an asset.
• You are available for an internship of at least 10 weeks (duration and start in consultation).
