We are experts in designing, manufacturing, maintaining, and upgrading large and complex elements for aircraft and space launchers. 

In Brussels, we have our Structural and Mechatronics Engineering offices, where all our new programs begin and our workshops are equipped with modern

machines that produce complex metallic assemblies for aircraft and space launchers as well as advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers.

Mission:  

Your main mission as Fitter is is to machine metal parts on conventional lathes and CNC machines. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Analyze the drawing of the part to be machined; 
  • Identify the machining steps; 
  • Mount cutting tools; 
  • Select the setup and adjust the machine; 
  • Load and run the CNC program when applicable; 
  • Monitor the machine operation; 
  • Measure the dimensions of the produced parts. 

You are responsible for:  

  • Ensuring compliance with the EN9100 quality standard and the ISO 14001 environmental standard; 
  • Performing rigorous self-checks to guarantee the quality and conformity of the work; 
  • Transferring your skills and knowledge to new team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and mutual support. 

Profile:  

Education: You hold a technical secondary diploma in mechanics, ideally with a 7th specialization in CNC.  

Desired experience: You have several years of experience in a similar role  

Soft Skills:

You demonstrate meticulousness, organization, and care; 

You are able to work in a team. 

Technical:     

You have basic knowledge of CNC programming; 

You are able to read and interpret technical drawings; 

You are able to perform workshop calculations (cutting speeds, etc.); 

You can use standard dimensional measuring instruments. 

Languages: You are fluent in French and/or Dutch. 

IT skills: You are proficient in Microsoft Office.
