Industrial Electrician

In Brussels, we have our Structural and Mechatronics Engineering offices, where all our new programs begin and our workshops are equipped with modern

machines that produce complex metallic assemblies for aircraft and space launchers as well as advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers.

MISSION: 

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical equipment in order to ensure safe and continuous production operations. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Maintenance and Troubleshooting
•    Diagnose electrical faults on industrial machines and installations.
•    Identify electrical defects such as short circuits, continuity losses, and component failures.
•    Detect, repair, or replace faulty components (relays, contactors, motors, sensors, etc.).
•    Respond quickly to breakdowns in order to minimize production downtime.
•    Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical installations.
•    Perform functional tests and checks after repairs to ensure proper operation of equipment.

Installation and Wiring
•    Install, assemble, and connect electrical cabinets and control panels.
•    Install and connect cables, cable trays, and conduits.
•    Perform industrial electrical wiring (power and control circuits).
•    Assemble and connect new machines and industrial installations.
•    Carry out commissioning tests, including voltage verification, continuity checks, and motor rotation direction tests.

Technical Documentation and Reporting
•    Read, understand, and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.
•    Prepare clear and accurate intervention and maintenance reports.

Safety and Teamwork
•    Strictly comply with safety standards and applicable regulations (VCA, RGIE, etc.).
•    Work collaboratively with technical teams on industrial sites and projects.

You are responsible for: 


•    Ensuring compliance with the EN9100 quality standard and the ISO 14001 environmental standard;
•    Performing rigorous self-checks to guarantee the quality and conformity of the work;
•    Transferring your skills and knowledge to new team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and mutual support.

PROFILE: 

Technical Skills
•    Solid knowledge of industrial electrical systems (power and control circuits).
•    Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills on industrial machines and installations.
•    Proficient in the use of electrical measuring instruments (multimeter, clamp meter, tester).
•    Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
•    Experience in industrial wiring, panel assembly, and equipment commissioning.
•    Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
•    Good understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations (VCA, RGIE, or equivalent).

Soft Skills
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions under time constraints.
•    Reactivity and adaptability in breakdown and emergency situations.
•    Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.
•    Good communication skills and ability to report technical issues clearly.
•    Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively on industrial sites.

Language skills
•    You are fluent in French or Dutch (spoken and written), and you understand technical English.
