Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career? We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cluster Cost Controller to join our Finance team in Ghent. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing cost control processes across our hotel cluster. You will directly contribute to efficiency, profitability, and compliance of our hotels and supporting outlets.

• Holiday Inn Express Suites Ghent
• Courtyard by Marriott Ghent (opening October 2025)
• Scala Meeting Centre Arno Restaurant (opening October 2025)

As a Cluster Cost Controller, you will be the financial partner of our FB, Procurement, and Operations teams. You will ensure costs are monitored and analyzed, processes are harmonized, and improvements are implemented. You will report directly to the Director of Finance.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading inventory and stock control for FB, housekeeping, maintenance, and other stores.
• Analyzing cost ratios (food, beverage, consumables), investigating variances, and recommending improvements.
• Reviewing supplier pricing and supporting competitive purchasing.
• Collaborating with Chefs and FB Managers on menu costing, recipe standardization, and portion control.
• Creating and maintaining purchase order tracking tools and monitoring budgets.
• Supporting month-end closing and financial reporting together with the Finance team.
• Implementing digital solutions and dashboards for cost monitoring.
• Training teams and promoting cost awareness across the cluster.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with an interest in accounting functions.
• Proficient in Excel and reporting tools.
• Clear and constructive communicator with internal and external partners.
• Ambitious, result-oriented, and accurate.
• Taking responsibility for the accuracy of your work.
• A team player who shares knowledge and supports colleagues.
• Flexible in time management and job content.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).

Not required, but considered an asset:

• Experience with Opera, Symphony, Lightspeed, Venice, or Birchstreet.
• Previous experience in hotel operations.
