CSDM Implementation Expert

We're looking for an experienced ServiceNow consultant to join our client's transformation journey and lead the implementation of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM v5.0). In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, guiding teams through the full CSDM maturity path — from Foundation to Fly — while helping build a robust, scalable, and compliant ServiceNow data model.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical expertise to design, configure, and deploy CSDM within the ServiceNow platform
• Analyze existing IT service management processes and assess their alignment with CSDM best practices
• Design and implement CSDM-based solutions to improve service quality, transparency, and operational efficiency
• Guide stakeholders through the Foundation, Crawl, Walk, Run, and Fly stages of CSDM adoption
• Develop and execute use cases to validate and secure the CSDM implementation
• Support the implementation and stabilization of the CMDB, including standard CSDM structures, relationships between Assets and CIs, and reference tables
• Analyze and implement lifecycle management concepts within the CMDB and the broader CSDM framework

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM concepts and implementation approaches
• Experience with Service Mapping and its different implementation methods in ServiceNow
• Advanced understanding of the ServiceNow platform, its core modules, and their interdependencies
• Solid experience implementing operational and strategic processes in ServiceNow based on the CSDM model
• Strong knowledge of ITSM processes within ServiceNow
• High-level understanding of NIS2 regulatory requirements
• Experience with ServiceNow Portfolio Management is a plus
