PL/1 Developer

For a major organisation active in the compulsory insurance sector, we are looking for
aSenior Mainframe Developer
to support a large-scale transformation and digitalisation programme, including a strategic core system modernisation project.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of mainframe applications within transformation and digitalisation projects
• Work on complex systems using PL/I in a z/OS environment
• Perform technical and, where required, functional analyses
• Develop, test, debug and optimise IT solutions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality and sustainable solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong and proven experience as a Senior Mainframe Developer
• Excellent knowledge of PL/I programming

• Solid expertise in mainframe technologies and tools, including:

• z/OS

• JCL
• OPC
• DB2
• PL/SQL

• Debugging tools and techniques

• Experience in technical and functional analysis is a strong asset

Language Requirements

• Candidate must be fluent in at least one of the two national languages (French or Dutch)
