Your most important tasks
- Monitor actual project costs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Verify whether current and expected costs remain within the allocated budget (sales and zero-based budget).
- Ensure accurate allocation of cost elements to the correct (sub)project.
- Split and redistribute budgets within projects while maintaining full oversight.
- Perform critical cost analysis and engage in proactive communication with relevant departments.
- Optimize and refine budget control systems and related processes.
- Prepare and execute budget control in ERP and review with the Project Manager.
- Prepare invoices and forecasts based on contract value, including approved variations.
- Update cost performance reports according to client requirements.
- Keep contract values up to date, including all approved changes.
Our ideal candidate
- You hold a Master's degree, preferably in Finance, Engineering, or Construction.
- You have an initial experience in cost control or project controlling; this is an advantage, but recent graduates are also welcome.
- You have a strong interest in construction, industrial projects, and offshore projects.
- You work well with deadlines and maintain oversight in complex projects.
- You have advanced Excel skills.
- You have a good command of English; Dutch is an additional asset.
