Flight Electrician Integrator

In Brussels, we have our Structural and Mechatronics Engineering offices, where all our new programs begin and our workshops are equipped with modern

machines that produce complex metallic assemblies for aircraft and space launchers as well as advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers.

Mission:
Your main mission as Flight Electrician Integrator is to install and inspect aeronautical wiring, the conductive wires connecting electromechanical and electronic equipment related to the wiring, based on schematics and plans.

Responsabilities
:
Electronic boards:

  • Study schematics and plans to assemble the printed circuit by soldering or bonding, performing very small solder joints that require millimeter-precision work;
  • Connect the electronic boards and insert components into enclosures or chassis;
  • Verify the compliance of the assembled equipment and the installation.

Cable preparation:

  • Cut wires/cables to length;
  • Strip wires/cables mechanically, thermally, or even with a laser;
  • Crimp, solder (weld) connections;
  • Protect wiring harnesses (also mechanically);
  • Install heat-shrink sleeves/tubing;
  • Perform small mechanical assemblies and connector assemblies;
  • Apply adhesive/potting products.

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with the EN9100 quality standard and the ISO 14001 environmental standard;
  • Performing rigorous self-checks to guarantee the quality and conformity of the work;
  • Transferring your skills and knowledge to new team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and mutual support.

Profile:
Desired experience:

An ESA certification ECSS-Q manual soldering), ESA ECSS-Q repair and modification), or ECSS-Q SMD soldering) is an asset.

Soft Skills:

  • You are able to work in both standing and seated positions;
  • You are organized;
  • You have no color blindness or allergies to products such as lead, resins, alcohol, or plasticizers.
  • You are fluent in French and/or Dutch.
  • Knowledge of technical English is an asset.

Technical:

You must possess the ability to perform high-precision work.
