What will you do?


As a Lean, Process & Project Manager, you are the driving force behind process improvement, efficiency and change within our distribution and operational organisation.
You work closely with the Distribution Manager and act as both a strategic and operational sparring partner. You combine in-depth Lean and process expertise with strong analytical skills and are able to structure, improve and sustainably embed complex processes.
In addition, you lead a small team of Lean & Process specialists and play a key role in improvement and transformation projects at local, regional and national level.
Your responsibilities
Process improvement & Lean
  • Analyse and map end-to-end processes within distribution and logistics
  • Identify improvement opportunities in terms of quality, productivity, service and cost
  • Initiate, design and implement Lean initiatives (continuous improvement, standardisation, waste reduction)
  • Define and follow up action plans based on KPIs, audits and operational data
  • Embed improvements in processes, ways of working and organisational culture

Project management & change management

  • Lead and coordinate local and regional improvement and transformation projects
  • Support national implementations and translate them into the local operational context
  • Monitor planning, budgets and deliverables
  • Facilitate change management: engage stakeholders, build support and ensure adoption
  • Evaluate projects and translate lessons learned into future initiatives

Team & stakeholders

  • Lead and coach a team of approximately 5 Lean & Process specialists
  • Support operational managers and their teams in process improvements
  • Work closely with operations, management and other LPPS colleagues
  • Report to the Distribution Manager on progress, results, KPIs and risks 



Who are you?

Education & experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent through experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a logistics or operational environment
  • Strong proven knowledge of process analysis, process modelling and Lean methodologies
  • Experience in project management
  • Plus: previous experience in leading or coaching a team

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to clearly visualise, structure and optimise processes
  • Data-driven approach with a focus on KPIs and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills at both operational and management level
  • Well organised, structured and results-oriented
  • Affinity with change management and organisational development

Languages

  • Fluent in Dutch or French (at least one national language required)
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Major plus: knowledge of the second national language
