As part of the strengthening of its Engineering department, Rolls-Royce Solutions Liège is looking for a Plant Engineer for its site in Grâce-Hollogne. Functieomschrijving As a Plant Engineer, you play a key role in the design and integration of installations around mtu machines. You define and adapt all peripheral systems (Balance of Plant) to ensure reliable, high-performance solutions tailored to environmental and customer constraints. You are involved from the design phase through to support during testing and implementation. Your main responsibilities: Define installation layouts (containers, buildings, technical rooms). Design Balance of Plant components: ventilation, cooling circuits, exhaust systems, diesel supply, filters, etc. Adapt solutions to specific environmental conditions (climate, temperature, dust, site constraints). Collaborate with suppliers: technical specifications, follow-up, and final inspections. Support factory testing of installations. Provide technical support to Sales, Project Management, and After-Sales teams. Interact with customers to clarify technical aspects of installations. Collaborate with the various Rolls-Royce Group entities to improve and develop Balance of Plant concepts, particularly modular solutions. Assess and validate new technologies related to the Balance of Plant. Team You will join an Engineering department of around 20 people , structured around several Technical Team Leads. The atmosphere is known to be very positive , collaborative, and friendly. You will be supported on a daily basis by highly experienced colleagues, with a genuine desire to share knowledge and help you develop your skills if needed. Profiel Your education and technical skills: Master's degree in industrial engineering (preferably mechanical or electromechanical). First experience in a similar role is a real asset (junior profiles without experience are also welcome!). Strong interest (we could even say passion!) for complex technical installations and machine peripheral systems. Use of AutoCAD or layout software (proficiency not required at entry; training will be provided). Proficiency in spoken and written French and English (essential in an international context). Your personal skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and ability to seek out information. Autonomy, sense of priorities, and a structured approach. Team spirit and smooth communication with a variety of stakeholders. Openness to innovative methods and concepts.
