Senior Business Analyst (Payments Implementation - App & Web Focus) – Freelance

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a customer in the financial services sector for a long-term freelance mission. The consultant will support a range of ongoing digital projects focused on mobile applications and web platforms, with particular emphasis on the mobile app experience in a B2C context.

The client are currently currently going through a Wero implementation, and need a Business Analyst on the front end to work on the implementation across their web and mobile side.

The role involves gathering and validating business requirements, performing functional analysis, and working closely with UX, development, and QA teams. Key initiatives include improving search functionality, enhancing user journeys for trading/investing features, and supporting the rollout of a chatbot functionality.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for mobile and web platforms
• Translate user needs into functional specifications focused on UX and front-end functionality
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and development teams in an agile environment
• Validate proposed features and improvements with internal stakeholders
• Support functional testing efforts, contributing to quality assurance and delivery readiness
• Participate in the design and optimisation of app-based trading/investing features
• Support chatbot integration and related process enhancements
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital customer journeys

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a financial services or B2C setting
• Proven experience with mobile apps, web front-end projects, and digital platforms
• Experience working on payments topics
• Solid understanding of UX and customer journey design
• Functional testing and QA support experience is a strong asset
• English-speaking, with knowledge of French/Dutch
