Senior Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all on-site mechanical construction activities
• Develop and execute construction methodologies, schedules, and sequencing strategies
• Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, CSA, and other project disciplines
• Manage subcontractors, site personnel, and project resources effectively
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems
• Monitor progress against programme milestones and budget targets
• Proactively identify and resolve technical and construction challenges
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior project stakeholders
• Contribute to project reporting, risk management, and mitigation activities

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Significant experience in mechanical construction management on large-scale projects
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, piping, and mechanical building services systems
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
• Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
• In-depth understanding of construction safety regulations and quality standards

Desirable Experience

• Background in mission-critical, data centre, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards professional accreditation
• Experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle, from construction to final handover
