Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines (Informatica PowerCenter) for large-scale data processing (20TB+ databases: Oracle/SybaseIQ).
Develop Java Applications (Java, Springboot, Maven Etc.)
Function description
Your main objectives are:
Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Release management: Secure complex changes, enforce coding best practices, and maintain high code quality.
Performance tuning: Optimize batch processing, scheduling, and monitoring (bonus: automation).
Problem-solving: Hands-on, pragmatic approach to troubleshooting and process improvements.
Cross-functional teamwork: Work in a cross-cultural, English-speaking squad (banking/insurance sector experience a plus).

Education
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science).
Preferred: Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in a relevant field (considered an advantage for complex problem-solving).
Alternative: Equivalent professional experience in data-intensive roles (e.g., ETL development, data engineering) may be considered.
Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of analytics are also encouraged to apply.

Required experience / knowledge
You have at least 6 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.
Technical Depth & Complexity Navigation
Expertise in ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter) and big data (20TB+ Oracle/SybaseIQ).
Advanced SQL (complex queries, optimization).
Good knowledge in Java (Java, Springboot, Maven Etc.) (eager to learn/build solutions with expert support).
Scheduling/monitoring: Batch processing, dependency management, performance tuning.
Preferable
Automation (bonus).
Preferable Banking/Insurance sector experience (preferred but not mandatory)
