Tech & Data Associate - Tier 1 Law firm

The opportunity in a nutshell

Your function

You will work closely with partners and senior associates on high-profile national and international matters, combining advisory and contentious work in a rapidly evolving legal and regulatory landscape.

What You’ll Do:

• Advise on data protection and privacy matters (GDPR, international data transfers)
• Support clients on AI, emerging technologies, and digital transformation
• Assist with digital regulation and platform governance
• Handle cybersecurity and data breach incidents
• Draft and negotiate technology-related commercial contracts
• Advise on copyright and IP issues related to software and digital content

Your profile

• 2–3 years’ experience in a law firm or in-house role, with exposure to IT, data protection, or digital regulation
• Belgian law degree and admission to the Belgian Bar (or eligibility)
• Strong analytical and drafting skills, with a genuine interest in technology and innovation
• Native Dutch speaker, fluent in English and French (additional languages are a plus)
• Proactive, collaborative, and eager to grow in an international setting
