Your essential tasks?

Anything involving money passes through the finance department. This department wants to ensure that finance is aligned with the strategy of the business. Our Finance department strives to simplify and uniform processes within the 13 entities in EMEA in order to deliver financial information in an accurate, transparent and tax compliant manner.
As a part of the Accounts Receivable Team, your day-to-day tasks will be:
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of all invoices
- Day to day follow up of your customer portfolio
- Daily contact with customers by phone and email
- Maintain internal process of credit limits and credit insurance, Income & cash registration
- Reduce current DSO (main target)
- Maintain debtor accounts, ensure all financial data (VAT number, credit line,...) is correct
- Provide customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, resolve discrepancies and short payments
- Provide excellent and considerate service to dealers and sales while respecting internal procedures
- Communicate with the sales team and customer service team
Who are we looking for to complement the team?
We are looking for an experienced credit controller. You will strengthen our Customer Finance team and will be responsible for your own customer portfolio, for different regions. It is vital that you build and maintain close links with all customers, but also with Crestron sales and customer service administrators. You are able to communicate in a calm and confident manner, with different personalities (customers & colleagues).
Determined, accurate and communicative are characteristics that fit you like a glove.
Skills that will be usefull:
- Ability to establish and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
- Very good language skills: Fluent in Dutch, French and English
- Knowledge of credit collection, billing and collection procedures
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Calm and confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Previous experience with SAP is big plus
- Experience with credit control software such as Trust.it
