Your role: build quality into every layer of the product
As Quality Assurance Engineer at InTouch, you ensure our products are reliable, user-proof and scalable. From validating new features to driving automation, you are a critical part of the development lifecycle and our mission to scale smart city solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Test and validate new features to ensure they meet functional and technical requirements
- Log and track bugs while collaborating closely with development to resolve them
- Define test plans and scenarios that align with product goals and user journeys
- Maintain and improve our automated test suite using Robot Framework (Python)
- Continuously improve QA processes by introducing new tools and AI-driven testing approaches
- Report on quality metrics and raise risks or bottlenecks early
- Contribute to a culture of quality across the engineering team
Who are we looking for
Must-have skills and mindset
- Solid experience with Git, SQL, Docker and Bash
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests
- Familiarity with Robot Framework or a comparable test automation tool
- Strong analytical thinking with a proactive and structured approach
- Comfortable working in an Agile development environment
- Eager to collaborate closely with developers and product teams
- Fluent in Dutch and English
Nice-to-have skills
- Knowledge of Selenium, Cypress or Playwright
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript or TypeScript
- Understanding of OpenAPI or AsyncAPI specifications
- Affinity with AI-driven testing or interest in learning more about it
