🧭 What you’ll do
As a Support Engineer, you’ll ensure the reliability and smooth operation of our clients’ IT systems.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing Level 1/2 technical support to end users (and escalating when needed): diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, and network issues.
- Managing incidents and service requests through a ticketing/helpdesk system, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication in the appropriate language (FR/NL/EN).
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining workstations, servers, and peripherals in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Assisting with security updates, patches, backups, and preventive maintenance.
- Contributing to internal documentation and knowledge base creation to share solutions and best practices.
- Collaborating with infrastructure, network, and development teams on more complex issues or improvement projects.
- Proactively identifying process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance support efficiency.
🎯 What we’re looking for
We’re searching for someone who checks most of these boxes 👇
Technical skills:
- Degree in IT / Systems / Networks or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in an IT support role, ideally in a multilingual or multi-client environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, virtualization tools, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP…), and collaboration platforms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and patch/update management tools.
- Ability to script simple automations (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) is a plus.
Soft skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to adapt your language and approach depending on the user’s background.
- Service-minded, patient, and structured in problem-solving.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
- Team player who enjoys collaborating across functions and cultures.
Languages:
- Dutch: fluent or native (mandatory)
- French: fluent (both spoken and written, required for international collaboration)
- English: fluent (both spoken and written, required for international collaboration)
