Location: Brussels, Belgium (UCB HQ)

Hybrid working schedule, Minimum 2 days per week on-site

Engagement Status: Freelance/Contract

Duration: 12 months (renewable)

About the Role:

We are seeking a DT Lead – Application Services Run to oversee and optimise a large-scale Application Management Services (AMS) contract within our client's Digital Technology organisation. This role focuses on automation and AI integration, vendor management, and operational excellence across multiple business domains (analytics, CRM, talent, web/mobile, commercial).

You will act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring service delivery meets KPIs and SLAs, while driving innovation through automation and generative AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the integration of automation and AI technologies into AMS processes (predictive maintenance, incident management, process optimisation).
• Identify and implement process improvements using automation and AI.
• Monitor performance of automated/AI-driven processes, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met.
• Prepare and manage activities around contract renewals, RFPs, and external benchmarking.
• Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders during the RFP process.
• Manage dashboards for skills resilience, training compliance, and budget tracking.
• Oversee invoice reception, review, and approval.
• Support knowledge transfer, audits, and compliance (including GxP processes).
• Regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, including SMEs across multiple domains.
• 5+ years in enterprise DT organisations.
• 5+ years in service management and project management.
• Proven experience in AI-related initiatives and automation strategy implementation.
• Strong understanding of automation tools and generative AI technologies.
• Experience managing large contracts and external vendors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English (French or Dutch is a plus).
• Familiarity with GxP processes.
• Comfortable working in a regulated pharma environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
• Knowledge of PowerBI reporting.

Additional Information:

• AMS contract covers 110–120 external resources from a strategic vendor.
• Large, multi-million euro agreement extended until September 2027.
