Freelance Employee Central Successfactor Lead

Location: Ghent (on-site 1X/month as required) Contract: Freelance, 7 months (extendable) Language: Dutch (native required) Workload: 2 days/week (part-time) or 4 days/week (multi-project) Overview A leading HR consultancy based in Ghent is seeking an experienced EC SuccessFactors Lead Consultant to deliver a key implementation for a public sector client. This role involves direct customer engagement, functional leadership, and collaboration with internal configuration experts. Key responsibilities Lead the implementation of Employee Central (EC) for a public sector customer Conduct customer-facing workshops and gather detailed requirements Translate business needs into user-friendly, actionable solutions Coordinate testing activities and manage follow-ups Collaborate with a configuration expert on solution build Conduct internal quality checks, prepare workbooks, demos, and documentation Push back constructively when needed to ensure best-fit solutions Option to support additional onboarding or HRIS projects (if working 4 days/week) Required skills & experience Proven experience in EC SuccessFactors implementations Strong ability to capture, translate, and implement business requirements Confident in leading workshops and engaging directly with clients Comfortable coordinating testing and managing deliverables Able to challenge client assumptions diplomatically when necessary Native Dutch speaker (essential) Available to be on-site in Ghent at least once per month
