Senior SAP/ABAP Developer – 12-Month Contract – Ghent (Dutch Speaking)

Our client is seeking a Senior ABAP Developer to support the integration between existing SAP R/3 systems and their new S/4HANA platform. This role specifically focuses on the Supply Chain process transition, managing communication between S/4HANA and legacy systems via various interfaces. You will work within an Agile product-focused team, contributing to both new development and the "run and growth" phases of the platform.

• Development Expertise: 5+ years of senior-level experience in ABAP-based applications.
• S/4HANA & R/3: Mandatory experience with both SAP R/3 and S/4HANA environments.
• Integrations & APIs: Proven experience with SAP integrations, including designing/implementing CDS Views and configuring OData services.
• Web & UI: Strong experience in SAPUI5 development; knowledge of ABAP Web Dynpro is a significant plus.
• Agile: Solid experience working within an Agile development methodology.
• Language: Fluent Dutch (C2 level) is mandatory.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with SAP MDG or the Belgian energy sector is a strong advantage.
• Duration: 12 months (Initial contract with potential for extension).
• Location: Ghent with a hybrid regime (minimum 1 day onsite). Occasional travel to Brussels may be required.
• Start Date: 18/02/2026.
• Flexibility: Occasional weekend releases will be required.
